The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

This is a little bit of what we do:

- Meet once a month. Our meetings consist of Bible study, prayer, mission service projects and fellowship

- Pray. Through our prayer sister program, our annual Prayer Breakfast in February and prayer circle.

- Gather mission materials. We gather items in the fall months for Global care packages and items for Orphan Grain Train that provides for needy people worldwide.

- Collect mites. Money is used for mission projects worldwide and locally.

- Host congregational dinners. We host the annual birthday party for Jesus in December and a congregational celebration in January.

- Serve our local community. We serve funeral dinners, visit Woodhaven care center, support the CDC, and participate in the local community soup supper.

- Learn. Through our smorgasbord program and bible study programs, we learn more about God’s world, missions, and his Word.

- Encourage. Through fellowship and devotion we encourage all ladies in their mission to serve.
